It is a series of portraits, close-ups of the deaf, but among the photos there is a hearing person. I want to make the facial difference between a hearing and deaf person understand. There are small details that make the difference between a deaf and a hearing person. The idea was born because years ago I met a lady who works in the municipality of Trento, to be precise at the registry office, and she told me that she could distinguish portrait photos of the deaf from those of the hearing.
E' una serie di ritratti, primi piani dei sordi, ma tra le foto c'è una persona udente. Voglio far capire la differenza facciale tra un udente e un sordo. Ci sono dei piccoli dettagli che fanno la differenza tra un sordo e un udente. L'idea è nata perché anni fa avevo conosciuto una signora che lavora presso il comune di Trento, per precisione presso l'ufficio anagrafe, e mi disse che sapeva distinguere le foto ritratto dei sordi da quelle degli udenti.
